Bollywood Evergreen Legend Dev Anand Dies At 88 in London
Bollywood romantic hero and fashion icon Dev Anand (at 88) passed away in London hospital. He was one of Bollywoods iconic actor-directors died of a massive cardiac arrest on Saturday night, December 3, 2011. Dev Anand, or Dev Saab produced and acted in dozens of movies like Munimji, C.I.D, Kalapani, Love Marriage, Kala Bazaar, Hum Dono, Guide. Dev Saab started his film career with Hum Ek Hain (1946) and delivered many hits movies like Paying Guest, Jewel Thief, CID, Johny Mera Naam, Hare Rama Hare Krishna and Des Pardes. He was the king of the black and white era with film. He was born in Gurdaspur on 26 September, 1923 and graduated in English literature from the Government Law College in Lahore.
