Bollywood Diaries is an upcoming Indian drama film, written and directed by K.D. Satyam and featuring Raima Sen,Salim Diwan and Ashish Vidyarthi in title roles along with Karuna Pandey and Vineet Kumar Singh in supporting roles. The movie is a tribute to aspiring actors and is expected to release in 2016. It is produced by Dr. Sattar Diwan under the banner of Rehab Pictures Private Limited, Eagle Eye Entertainment LLP as Associate Producer. The film will be distributed by Zee Studios and the digital marketing is being handled by CineMArkets Digital Solutions.
Satyam is known for his work as a writer for Gattu, a film that was awarded at the Berlin Film Festival and won another two awards at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles. It also became a part of the list of India’s Oscar Nominations in 2012.
Principal photography of the film began in October 2014 and the shooting started the month after that.The film was shot in Bhilai, Kolkata and Delhi.During the filming, Ashish Vidyarthi suffered a mishap when he nearly drowned in river Shivnath before being rescued by a policeman.
The first trailer of the movie was released on 12 Jan 2016. The movie is scheduled to release on 26 February 2016.
