BLUE VELVET ON 16TH ST

Tuesday night in New York called for dinner at Michelin star Cantonese restaurant Hakkasan in Midtown and then to watch Aladdin on broadway which we enjoyed thoroughly (well, I did, as a big disney fan). Afterwards we walked through Times square, taking in the lights, the sights and the crazy sounds, dipping in and out of shops until our feet got sore (mine first) and we hitched a cab back to our hotel.
Id bought this dress from Freepeople in the daytime and thought it perfect for a dinner and theatre occasion. I adore adding new fabrics and colours to my wardrobe and this number ticked both boxes. It is silky soft and is such a unique colour,
Then I was so glad to have a place to wear my new Zara gold heeled boots and On top I chucked over my Faux suede jacket which fits pretty much all occasions.
