Long time no see, eh? Sorry about that but Ive got some pretty cool stuff in the pipeline at the moment. Ya girl just planned her first event, which went well, among a myriad of other things. I knew springtime was gonna get a little crazy but I didnt know itd be like this. Not complaining though; just very excited to see what the near future holds.
Enough about my life and all that boring stuff. Lets talk about these clothes! I have pretty broad shoulders so I was afraid to try the whole "off the shoulder" trend. I dont hate it though. Oh, and this "top" is actually a dress. A big goal of mine starting now and probably going well into the fall is to minimize my wardrobe. Im tired of the piles of clothes everywhere that wont fit anywhere else and since it doesnt seem like Ill be moving to a bigger place anytime soon, I gotta purge. Pieces that can be worn multiple ways can stay, of course.

Id bought this dress from Freepeople in the daytime and thought it perfect for a dinner and theatre occasion. I adore adding new fabrics and colours to my wardrobe and this number ticked both boxes. It is silky soft and is such a unique colour,
Then I was so glad to have a place to wear my new Zara gold heeled boots and On top I chucked over my Faux suede jacket which fits pretty much all occasions.

This outfit was mostly crafted around my BET Barcelona bag, They are new brand coming from Spain and When I was mooching around Wolf and Badger in Mayfair the other week their designs caught my eye. I love the different colours this bag comes in (next I would go for the black, naturally) and Im fond of the minimal yet playful designs.
It was a very chilly day in London and I was viewing a flat in West London so I wanted to look somewhat smart so went with quite a minimal look to match.

Blue Dress for a Blue Girl
Are you familiar with the song "Feeling Good?" Surely everybody has heard it, no? There are countless renditions but nobody-- even the ultimate cool Canadian dad (Mr. Bublé)-- nailed it like Nina Simone. Even through the triumphant tone of the music, her vocals are jarring. This woman has been through some turmoil and its clear. Shes out of the woods but shes shaken. Its in this that I find solace. Just because youre broken doesnt mean you cant make something hauntingly beautiful. On the contrary: sometimes its just a necessity.
What a difference a week can make. My outlook is a lot better than it was in my last blog post. The difficult life circumstances have not budged one bit but Im adjusting. Using my time wisely as a means of keeping myself busy with the right amount of productive distractions. And to those who have reached out to let me know Im not alone, you mean the world to me.Black is often regarded as the saddest color on the spectrum. I dont doubt that it is, especially since its attached to the act of mourning. However, I find blue to be the most sorrowful hue of all. Maggie Nelsons Bluets says it better than I can:
157. The part I do remember: that the blue of the sky depends on the darkness of empty space behind it. As one optics journal puts it, "The color of any planetary atmosphere viewed against the black of space and illuminated by a sunlike star will also be blue." In which case blue is something of an ecstatic accident produced by void and fire.
Thats just one small section: you should really read the entire essay. Brilliant. All that to say, this is why Im wearing a blue dress. Im feeling better but Im still sad. And I think thats okay.
Aside from being an okay indication of my inner struggles, this dress also happens to be very pretty. Give me all of the bell sleeves, forever. And the back? YES.

In December 2014, Tina Casciani joined the cast of the film.

Voilà un bon moment que javais envie de me transformer à nouveau... Et cette fois-ci, une inspiration qui nest pas si éloignée de mes origines (ma grand-mère paternelle était à moitié indienne !), mais aussi une bonne occasion de me peinturlurer les yeux tout en regardant Om Shanti Om pour la énième fois.
Tout est parti de la palette "Devoted to fans" dYves Saint Laurent, reçue grâce à Ykone. Réaliser plusieurs combinaisons me semble la meilleure façon non seulement de mamuser et de vous amuser, et surtout de me motiver à jouer avec mon appareil photo. Et puis... pourquoi pas finir par porter le bleu au quotidien ?
Je compte réaliser dautres autoportraits ou portraits, dailleurs si vous avez une idée, je suis toute ouïe !

At the end of July I went to the Untold Festival, but I totally forgot to bring a hat with me. So I stopped at the Iulius Mall and bought myself a new one. I hadnt realised that it goes so well with my older Primark backpack. When I noticed it, I knew I had to incorporate the two of them in one outfit. But since I wanted both of them to be the centre of the look, I decided to stick to a blue jeans white shirt kinda look. Do you like the final result?
Anyway, lets talk about something a bit personal. You all know that the reason why we post less is because we moved to Budapest for two months. Slowly, it will come to an end and I feel so sad. I mean, after going to all these amazing events, parties, trips around Budapest, what should I do back at home? I never want to leave this amazing city. I feel like I can do anything here, there are no boundaries, people dont stare at you if you wear a freakin hat. There is always something happening, the city never goes to sleep. But duty calls, I must return :))
